The National SUDI Prevention Coordination Service alongside, Tobacco Control, Smokefree Activation and Research teams to meet with services, kaimahi and community in the Hawkes Bay region. An excellent attendance ensured shared kōrero around SUDI, SUDI prevention, Smokefree 2025 and activities. Of particular interest was information about immunisations for children and pregnant women. We were pleased to have Communio SUDI liaison interviewers Erica and Elaine, and expert SUDI researcher Professor David Tipene-Leach attend. The afternoon session provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss what was important to them. We look forward to assisting this community in the future.
